January 18, 2021 by Debbie

Country Fox visited 119 Antique Trading Post to look for some interesting finds. This antique store is located outside of Indiana in Rochester Mills.

What can shoppers find here?

119 Antique Trading Post offers a veritable cornucopia of items. From big to small there is a little something for everyone. Let’s start with antiques, collectibles and vintage!

Antiques, Vintage and Collectibles

119 Antiques Trading Post

Throughout the two large rooms, antiques, vintage and collectible items abound. There is furniture of all sizes. Small items are tucked into every nook and cranny. One section is dedicated to baseball and other collectible cards. Prices on these items vary, but are usually affordable.

Books

Book lovers can find books all over 119 Antiques. However, there is one corner dedicated to all sorts of books. This would be a great place to pick up kids’ books for cheap!

Farmhouse and Primative

Wooden bowls, baskets and various other Primative and Farmhouse decor are found spread thoughout the building. Wall signs, stars, checkered cloth are all available.

Refinished Finds

Sometimes the owner buys a piece of furniture that is of little value due to damage. She cleans it up, slaps a coat of special paint on it and brings it new life. Speckeled throughout can also be found some items that have been repurposed to great advantage.

Hand Made Items

Shoppers can find some wonderful hand crafted items. Some items are refurbished goods and others are uniquely hand crafted. There are hand-made wooden toys in one section. In another section is a wonderful selection of Goat Milk Soap.

Our Visit Concluded

Country Fox was able to acquire a vintage bird cage that will be used for decorative purposes. We also got a few odds and ends that will be used in future DIY projects.
